This guide explains how to bridge ETH from the Ethereum network to the RSK network equivalent, ETHs, and and then to use it to provide liquidity for an automated market maker (AMM) within the Sovryn platform.
Using the top-bar main navigation menu of the main Sovryn app page, and select the Portfoliotab. The Portfolio pageis displayed. Look for the ETHs row marked with the Ethereum logo.
Select the original network from which you want to bridge your ETH to Sovryn:
Binance Smart Chain Network
Ethereum Network
¶ 5. Switch to the required network using your wallet
Based on your choice from the previous step, switch from the RSK mainnet in your wallet to the network which currently holds your ETH.
Select the desired asset you want to bridge over to Sovryn by selecting its icon displayed in the Bridge interface. In this case, it is ETH. You will be prompted to switch to a different wallet.
¶ 6. Enter the amount to bridge to your RSK wallet for use on Sovryn
Enter the Deposit Amount within the Minimum (0.0100 ETH) and Maximum (10 000 000.0000 ETH) transferable amounts. The associated fee is displayed at the bottom of the Daily deposit limits.
After pressing the Deposit button, the Deposit Liquidity window will open.
Select the desired amount of ETH you wish to deposit to the pool. In the example below, 0.05 ETH has been entered. The AMM automatically calculates the equivalent value amount of RBTC, which must be supplied along with ETHs, in this case, 0.0128 RBTC.
When you have entered your desired amount, click the Deposit button. Both, your ETHs and RBTC will be stored in the Pool and deducted from your Portfolio page.
