Trezor developers have announced that version 8 of the Trezor Connect software "will go offline by the end of 2023”, and is being replaced by the new Trezor Connect version 9.
Given the effort required to update the Trezor Connect implementation in Sovryn apps and maintain compatibility with Trezor Connect version 9, along with the fact that we have a new web application with version 9 support, Sovryn developers have decided to deprecate support for connecting to Sovryn apps directly using a Trezor hardware wallet.
Sovryn users who want to continue using a Trezor can do so using a browser extension wallet as intermediary:
Steps in more detail below.
Enkrypt will now be connected to Sovryn app using your Trezor's Rootstock address on the Rootstock derivation path.
MetaMask will now be connected to Sovryn app using your Trezor's Rootstock address on the Ethereum derivation path.
